The car is in fact an Almera Tino which is very different from an Almera. Exactly where is the filter located t and how do you change it please?
Do not know whay else I can say as i have tried to explain my problem simply.

Sorry we do not have any information for your vehicle and do not know if it is equipped with a cabin filter.

Since you hace taken off the glove box, check for a rectangular plastic slot. If there is one, the filter should be behind it. Some manufacturers requires a certain portion of the cover to be cut to remove and replace the filter.

Post some pictures if you can and maybe we can tell you if there is a filter there.
