Smells like fuel in the cabin?

This can be caused by the fuel tank filler hose or the EVAP charcoal canister. I don't think it is the hose you have found under the hood though it should be replaced with the correct hose, this will allow crankcase vapors but not a strong gas smell. Use a flashlight to check the fuel injectors for fuel leakage (engine running) it is easy to see the fuel because it will look wet. If they are dry let's raise the vehicle in the rear to check for gas leak stains around the tank and filler neck.

Here is the location of the charcoal canister which you can tell if it is leaking by the same way, it will look wet. Please let me know what you find and check the images below. You can upload images of what you find, that would be great.

I found a wet fuel injector after pulling off the engine cover. It is very wet. Can we assume it is also missing an o-ring?

Hi Olivia, it looks like you found the leak, it could be the O ring or the body of the injector itself is leaking. I would remove the injector and check the O rings for damage when they were installed. If the seals look okay replace the fuel injector. Please don't drive the car anymore due to the fire hazard.
