Somebody tried to steal my vehicle and the keys have been lost. so with that being said we have managed to get passed the steering lock and the ignition was already punched out so the little round cylinder that sits at the back of the ignition has been separated. so we have been using that to start the truck. We have had no problems as for everything has worked and functioned like it is supposed to. Until our friend locked all the doors and closed them. So we had no choice but to wedge the door and with a long device managed to get it unlocked being surprised with the alarm that went off. So I immediately tried to start the truck. That wasn't happening so my last resort was to pull the battery cable off . I was hoping I could maybe unplug the alarm box but I am not able to locate it. What can I do to bypass the anti theft system so that I can start the truck and utilize my vehicle again? AKA Please help

Hello my name is Dave.

I have check all my data bases and have not been able to find anything showing the security system. You can try using our guide to resetting the system.

Here is a link for that:

I am not sure they will have the information for a vehicle as old as yours, alternately I do know that on a lot of older Japanese vehicles unlocking the front door with the key, usually the driver's door but sometimes the passenger side, will deactivate the system so my best recommendation would be to purchase replacement lock cylinders for your doors and then unlock the doors with the keys. I hope this helps you get back on the road. Please keep us up to date on your progress and thank you for using 2CarPros!
