the cruise will ingage however it will disingage after about 3 min. tested at 40 mph and 65mph the light on the dash goes out and the van slows

Sounds like you may need to bring it in somewhere to have someone check out the codes. There has to be a reason why the cruise is dropping out. Transmission issue, wheel speed sensor. All things that could affect it.
