1993 Buick Skylark Left Directional lights but doesn't flas

My left directional lamp lights up but doesn't flash. The right one works fine.

I've been flicking the left on and off and on and off while making a turn for about three months now. I'm due for inspection. What can this be?

one of the problems it could be the cam switch may be broke go to any auto part store like autozone,advance autopart,pepboys,orally,napa and ask them for a turnsignal cam switch.
