Transmission problem
1992 Buick Skylark Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Automatic 70,000 miles

It appears as if the transmission fluid is leaking from my car as I see red fluid in the driveway. I fill the fluid and the car runs fine for a coupld weeks then I need to fill again. I was told by a mechanic that my seal need to be replaced but it is on the side and requires a special tool to reach it. Is this correct and is it a fairly easy repair?
