1985 Buick Skylark stalling out

Hello My name is Jason and I just baught a 1985 buick skylark and I love the car but,every once in a while it will decide that it wants to stall out at a stop but, if I put it in park it will run all day.I am not sure what is wrong with it maybe the belts or timing or somthing.

How long since a tune-up? Any trouble codes? Maybe Idle air issue? I have heard of tcc not releasing on some, when coming to a stop. Where applicable, if it doesn't release, it acts like a manual tranny, when you don't push in on the clutch, chug a couple of times, then dies.
