1997 Buick Riviera removing positive battery terminal

Hi, I have dirty terminal on the positive side of the battery.For some reason i can't get the terminal off. is there any special tool that i need?

Thanks for the donation.

No special tool is needed. Wedge your wrench underneath the battery terminal if the nut is too tight. Sometimes because of corrosion, the nut and bolt can become too tight or deteriorated to remove with the wrench. In this case, place the wrench under the terminal and "pop" up to release the grip.
