1996 Buick Riviera truck will not close

the remote is able to open and close car doors but the truck will not close now so any ideas.

Are you saying that the trunk will open, but not lock when you close it??? If so, then your lock/latch is bent and you'll either need to bend it back in place or buy a new one.
