About four months ago my car ignition got stuck and my keys could not turn it on. So I tow it to a shop. After they fix it about a week later I turn my car on while in park my RPM shoots up to 3500. I waited ten min it didn't went down, so I turn off the car then slowly turn the keys then it went back to 1000 to 1500 RPM which is normal. While I was driving it stated to jerk/buck, when I came to a stop at the light the engine start to sound like I was pressing on the gas to go. When I took my foot off the brakes it jumps forward. I took it to three mechanics because they did see any check engine light or anything so they just guess it was my throttle hub and sensor so they replace them. But the problem is still there. I also notice while the problem going on, the heat gauge goes up close to the red then back to the middle. Someone please help. I still owe a lot on this crazy car.
