2003 Buick Rendezvous clunking and pulsating brakes after r

Brakes problem
2003 Buick Rendezvous Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi,

I just changed the front rotors and pads. Now sometime when I brake, it pulsates and makes a clunking noise.
Also the ABS light and Check Tracing System and Tracing system off light comes on.

Recheck the front brakes to make sure the calipers are tight. Also, when you feel the pulsation, is it in the brake pedal or do you feel it more in the seat.

I feel it more in the brake pedal and now the check traction system light and traction off light is coming on.

The computer needs to be scanned for the light that is on. Most nationallhy recognized parts stores will do it for free. As far as the pulsation and clunk, the clunk makes me believe a caliper is loose. As far as the pulsation, even new rotors can be warped, especially now when most everything is made of a cheaper grade steel and imported from other countries. Most people would be happy to pay a few more dollars and not have the problems, but that doesn't seem to be an option any longer. That is the only thing to cause the pulsation when brakes are applied, so I would take them back and try a new set of rotors.

I'm sure that isn't what you wanted to hear, but the is the reality of it.
