2003 Buick Rendezvous

Is it coming from outside the vehicle or inside? I've heard a lot of steering collumns make a whining noise when turning. Are you confusing the whining noise with a squeaking noise? If so, the ball joints could be making the noise. Be a little more specific and I'll help you fix it or at least determine what it is.

My 2002 Rendezvous also makes a noise under
the truck Like a strain on some thing or A pump noise
when I make A left turn, If you find the problem

I had the serpentine belt replaced. The day I got it replaced it made the same noise but the next day when I had someone listen for it, it was gone and I haven't heard the noise since. Hope this helps.
