Went to check AC level onh car. Took off low level cap, put AC on full, turned engone on and a loud popping / hissing sound was heard under bonnet. Steam was escaping + small amount of green fluid....placed hand by radiator fan and felt gushing air. After circa 5mins it stopped gushing air...and there was very little fluid on the floor (less than a table spoon!!!!). Turned car back on, no gushing sound, no fluid escaping and the radiator fan kicked on to cool engine down!!! Took car out for drive around block and all seems OK. But concerned that raditor may have a leak!!! Any suggestions?

Hi there,

have a cooling system pressure test done, this will show up any external leaks, and don't forget to have the pressure cap tested as well.

Having driven it circa 60 miles everything seems OK however I feel the AC is no longer powerful - just had $650 worth of work done on new AC...could that be the expulsion of air? p.s. have got it booked in end of the week for prssure check so tx for that one...
