Background:
This Buick Rendevous has an intermittant "Battery" message center alert.
Charging system is fine, 14+ volts always whether alert is present or not. 125 Amp alt output, new regulator installed just in case, commutator and all internals are great.
Battery passes load test, replaced with another good spare to eliminate batt as culprit.
Suspect BCM as interior lights have developed eratic "Bad Ground" type flickering behaviour at same time as message center alert began.
Question:
Where does the componnent locator place the Body Control Module ?
Is there a notorious ground point... behind dash, other ??
Could headlight switch (related to interior lights) cause this message center erratic behavoiur ??
Searching for clues.
