Cannot insert key and steering wheel is locked.
Car stuck in driveway at friend's home. Need advice ASAP. Writing Saturday night, January 31, 2009.

Will have it towed on Sunday morning to dealership.
Would like an expert opinion about this problem (that pops up as a common problem on other web sites when researching for help on line). Too late to reach dealership tonight. Want expert opinion before entrusting that Buick dealership service with final answer. Many thanks.

Thanks for the donation.

Suspect faulty ignition. Sounds like the pins have worn out and got lodged in cylinder. This will lock up the ignition. Steering wheel will unlock once key is inserted back into ignition.
