The odometer, PRND indicator, & trip meter are dark. It started as an intermittent blacking out.
What is the likely cause of this problem, & how can it be repaired?. From what I've learned it sounds like the circuit board in the cluster needs repair. I talked with a person at a local GMC dealer service dept., & he said it might just need reprogramming. Is that likely? It will cost $95 to find out. If the repair of the cluster must be done the labor will be $147, the circuit board repair $384. The unit will be sent out of state for repair.
