1998 Buick Regal timing chain

I've taken the timing chain off and now I'm ready to replace it . I know to get the no.1 piston top dead center but what about the other tow gears with dots, the camshaft gear and the other little gear how do the dots line up. All pointing down are up I'm stuck any help would be very very helpful. thanks.
