Hey im new to this site and new to buicks ok I have this rebuild engine in my 1998 buick regal that I purchased from my moms long time mechanic 20yrs+ they have known eachother and I have had problem after problem that he has fixed, but theres two things he has yet to understand what is going on okay for starters from my motor, theres a loud whistling noise we hear all the time we have replaced 3-4things water pump power steering the belt and so on and the noice is still there and also at one point i was getting horrible gas milage so he takes the cover off of the motor and goes into the intake manifold and notices there wasnt a pcv vavle...since then my milage has been ok..would anything be clogged up maybe?? has anyone with a regal had these issues??? I also have a problem this guy had where I turn right or i go iun reverse and her this horrible noise its like a crunching sound...
