I have a 1997 Buick Regal GS 6 cyl 3.8L SuperCharged with auto trans. The car is my second car and it is very rarely driven. It is keep in the garage. Occasionally I take It out to drive. The last time I had it out was about 8 months ago and everything worked fine. I just recently try to start it and it would not turn over. I checked the fuses and found that the 15A fuel pump fuse was blown. I replaced it and tried starting it again and the fuse blew again. Do you have any suggestion as to what could be causing the fuel pump fuse to blow? Also, where is the fuel pump resistor located and could this be a possible cause of the problem. Thanks!

behind the passenger side head light. probably not the problem. unplug the fuel pump and see if it still blows the fuse.
