1995 Buick Regal Rear brakes

There is some kind of wierd looking lock or something, on the back of the of the calipers, after you remove the pads, its this cut out kinda thing over the piston, I can't depress the piston. Is there a special tool for that thing or what?
What am I missing here?? I have never seen anything like that.

You've probably figured this out already. I'll answer anyway for the new poor soul who has the same issue. You see, I got caught on this one, too. :-(

Yes, there is a special tool - the caliper reset tool. The tool fits the indentions in the caliper piston. You then wind the piston back into position. You should be able to borrow one from your local AutoZone.
