1995 Buick Regal Headlights and Interior lights turn off

I am having an issue with my '95 Buick Regal. When I go to turn the knob to turn on the headlights they will turn on momentarily but then they will turn off again allong with the interior lights, dash lights, and the radio. it happens sporadically and I was just wondering what could be causing the issue.
