Hi there... The brake pedal on my car is pulsating at higer speeds about 40mph and up... I thought the rotors might be warped! I just replaced both rotors and brake pads up front and they still seem to be doing the same thing just not as bad... Could i have bad calipers???? or should i be looking for something else

thank you so much!

May have had 2 sources of pulsation since it did change, some is probably coming from the rear. Possibility of defective new rotors in the front or mis-installation.

Well you can try pinching off the the lines at the rear with vise grips...( I know this isn't the best way as it can damage the hoses) or remove the rear lines and seal them with a nut/bolt/washer/copperwasher combination,(which I have read about but never actually done myself). Then drive it. Drive it carefully because the stopping power has been not only reduced to just the front brakes but also you don't want to overheat the fronts. You stopping distance will increase so pay attention to stopping anticipation. Get it to the speed you feel the pulsation and apply the brakes. If the pulsation is still there then address the fronts...again. IF not. Then pick up a set of rear calipers, pads and rotors. Don't reuse the calipers on this particular body style as they were poorly engineered.
