1994 Buick Regal Coolant Leak

I have a 94 Buick Regal 3100 V6 Auto w/ 145,000 miles that is pooring coolant from the evaportor drain tube on the firewall. I have checked to make sure the tube is not plugged and even puuled it off and cleaned out the tube going in through the firewall. Everthing is clear yet I am still leaking really bad. What causes this? I am not overheating (in fact running very cold - thermostat stuck open) and the heater core seams to be fine...

hmmmm, that would be the only reason i can think of for coolant to be there , the heater core , anything wet on the passenger floor or carpet near the firewall

The floor board is dry... I havn't taken out any of the paneling to see if it's wet up underneath the dash but the heater works (as well as it can with engine temp only reaching 160 degrees) so I'm assuming the core is fine. How can I be sure of this? I paid 200 bux for this car and need it daily for school and work ... What do i do next?

the heater core is the only place coolant enters the vehicle , you can have a pressure test done cost about 30 bucks , or you can do it the harry homeowner way and bypass the heater core , but i would not recommend it as you wont have heat at all

No heat is fine ... I'm in Phoenix where winter never begins so how do I bypass the heater? And Thank you soooo much for the help!!! :D :D :D

no problem and i wish i was there i am freeeeezing.

any way you can pick up a (t) or a bypass at any local parts store and all you really need to do is have two new clamps , remove the heater hoses (most likely they will be stcuk so use pliers to turn them back an forth and connect the bypass to both heater hoses and tighten , refill coolant
