1992 Buick Regal oil in my resevoir?

Engine Performance problem
1992 Buick Regal 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive

My car started pouring out all of its coolant when i started it one day, when i took it to the shop the mechanic said there wasn't anything he could do because i have oil in my reservoir. How could it have gotten there and is there really no saving this car now?

Probably not worth saving... a new or rebuilt engine is the solution, and boiling out the radiaitor to clean the oil out, this will cost more than the cars value... but it is your money.

actually just got quoted by a mechanic a grand, it's not my car it's the lady i care take for, but i guess she wants to have it fixed. But thanks so much for your response
