2000 Buick Park Avenue lock/memory seat button illumination

I am not familiar with the exact switch layout, but does any switch on the drivers door illuminate, how about the drivers window switch? Usually the bulbs, or nowadays LED's are serviceable only by component, so replacing the lock switch was a valid attempt. I am using GM service info, and the schematics show nothing for illumination of the memory seat switch, has it been illuminated in the past, and stopped working? I do show a feed for the lock switch, it looks like the gray wire is the dimming output from the panel dimming module which supplies just about all switches, and they are spliced from that output, but the memory seat switch is not part of it. I do show that the drivers door switch assembly has a dimming feed, and being that the memory switch may be part of that, it may share the same illumination. The entire dimming circuit is powered from this gray wire, and the voltage will be determined by the potentiometer setting, but by no means zero volts. On the drivers door switch, it is pin 5, a gray wire. If you can determine what, if any, voltage is present on this gray wire, that may lead you in a direction. The voltage should be the same at the lock switch, as the drivers door switch assembly. If there is zero, you will have to start breaking down the circuit to see where it is lost.

I wouldn't be surprised if the memory switch bank has no bulbs, but it sure doesn't make any sense to me to do that. Not sure if they light up on a the same era Bonneville with memory seat option. To me it looks out of place to not illuminate. I imagine the ground for the dimmer circuit is okay because all the other switches are lit. So I need to check for voltage present at the gray wire going to the switch? I am wondering if the dimmer circuit goes through the door module, but if the module was the culprit wouldn't all the lights be off on that door? The window switch bank lights up fine.

The drivers door module grounds the window switch, the lock switch, drivers info center sw, steering wheel sw, and HVAC control panel among other things, are grounded through G202 under the lf kick panel at A-pillar. It looks like the memory seat switch is only a four wire connector, with only three of the cavities occupied, memory signal 1 white wire pin a, memory signal 2 purple wire pin b, and ground which is also G202 black pin d.
