Air Conditioning problem
2000 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 98k miles

Hi all,

Here is the deal, i unclogged the weap hole from underside fire wall. Got soaked while doing it so i thought the problem was solved. yet 1 week later still getting wet floors.

Please help with what i can do and instructions how 2 please.

Is there warter running out of the drain when you use the AC?

yes, there is water draining out the drain now. athough the floors are still getting wet.

Under the dash is where the heater core, AC... are located. They are enclosed in plastic. There is either a crack or a leak coming from there allowing some of the water to remain in the vehicle. I hate to say it, but you need to craw under the dash and start looking. I wish there was an easier way, but that is it.

Okay,

after a long day of disassembly, i removed the carpet and found that the carpet had apporx 2.5 gallons of water absorbed into the foam. i ran the car with out the carpet and found no more leaks. so problem solved and carpet is now dry.
