my headlights wont cut on when the headlight is turned on, only the park lights cut on. when i turn the head light switch off the park lights stay on. they do not cut off untill i turn the car off. what could this be?

Do you have twilight sentinel and drl? There is a lamp control module, but, I'd check everything else first. Check the headlamp circuit breaker, use a voltage tester.
