I have a 95 park ave ultra. recent repair work done:
complete tune-up including coils o2 sensor and fuel filter/ new t.p.s. set @ .86v/ new crank sensor/ recently replaced upper and lower intake gasket
problem: loss of power has no low end torque upper rpm it surges/ it has a slight miss off idle and after it is warmed up the idle jumps to 1500 and once the accelerator is pressed it will idle down. After that happens the idle soons jumps to 3500 rpm and will not idle down. I have checked for vaccum leaks and replaced the intake gaskets to make sure that it wasnt the issue. it has a check engine light that is on but I have not read the code. I was wondering if it may be the I.A.C. or the M.A.F. sensor causing this. currently it is unsafe to drive due to the idle jumping as it does.
any suggestions?
