HOW DO YOU REPLACE TH CAM SENSOR PICKUP ON THE TIMMING GEAR SPROCKET. DOES IT REQUIRE REMOVEING THE SPROCKET

Don't know what motor you have but on the 3.1 the cam sensor is on the back side of the engine. Reach up from underneath, find it by itself in the middle of the lower block.
Held in place by a single 10 mm bolt. Simply remove the bolt, it pulls right out, sealed only by an "O" ring. Easy job. Two wire clipon. Took me about 5 minutes total. 8)
