Fuel Gauge

I have 93 Buick La Sabre and the fuel gauge fluctuates about a quarter of a tank. Is there an easy and inexpensive fix for this, or am I looking at spending a lot of dough?

that really depends on what state you live in..........what I mean is..........if your car is very rusty underneath from road salt you could be starting a real mess.

most likely you will need a fuel level sensor, fuel tank removal is necessary on this model.

that sound pretty expensive. i live in nebraska, so rust may be an issue. i'll have to peek underneath.
