Why did Buick design this car such that the instrument lights trun off during the day when the light switch is set for automatic? The other lights for the radio and information panel increase in intensity during the day. Is it possible to reprogram the lighting system to correct this problem?
It is very difficult to read the speedodometer, tachometer and fuel gauges during bright daylight conditions.
Other cars instrument lighting stays on and gets brighter during daylight.
The picture is from a 2007 Buick Lucerne which I has as a loaner during radio repair issues. The instrument panels are idential for 2007 & 2008.
