At 24500 miles the engine light came on. I have no problems with the car, the engine performs fine. Is this an automatic mileage sensor?

Hi:
It could be something like that or a minor problem that has no affect on engine performance. What I suggest is to take the car to a nationally recognized auto parts store and have them scan and reset the computer. Most of these places do this for free. If there is a code, let me know what it is and we'll work on together.
