Wiper Control Module - Lesabre

I have checked a few places and can't find the pulse board by itself, looks like you may have to get the whole wiper motor, which can be bought at most auto parts stores.

Since your car is relatively new, you may be able to find on in a junk yard. Just be careful on the price if you get one from a salvage yard with regards to price. The average price for a remanufactured unit was about 120.00 with a lifetime warranty, so I would not pay over 50 dollars for a used one. If you can find a U PULL it salvage yard with the part would be your best bet, since you get to dismantle the wrecked cars parts prior to working on your car so you can find any problem areas prior to tearing into your car. I'll most likely go with the auto parts store option. I like the idea of a lifetime guarantee.

In looking at rockauto.com and autopartsgiant.com, I see that there are two wiper motors for this car. One is #88958170 and the other is #12487617.

The first one is for model years 2000-2005. The second one is for year 2001 only and it cost more.

Does anyone know which one is the best - and if I'll be able to specify that one at the local auto parts store??

Check your local parts stores first, they are the people with the warranties. I don't know what the warranties are for the .com sites.
