rough idle when starting

I have a 95 Buick Lesabre 3800 engine, with 89,000 miles on it. I had the gas tank,fuel pump,filter and oil changed last week. Yesterday the check engine light came on when I was driving it,but the car ran great. This morning when I started it the engine light came on and it idles rough then smooths out.No weird smells. After the cars idle smoothed out it ran great.Any ideas. Thanks

First thing I would check would be the fuel pressure regulator. Make sure that fuel is not coming out of the fitting where the vacuum line hooks up. Also I would have the codes scaned. You could have a bad upper intake or gasket that is bad. If you have the car scaned for codes and find some codes for the EGR then I would pull the upper intake off and inspect the port that the EGR tube fits into for punctures and cracks......
