I have the K engine Thanks for the PSI info. My psi is 43 at idle to 49 at about 2000 rpm, must be my hesitation problem, although when i unhook my MAP sensor car seems to run fine. Heard that low fuel pressure will bring up a MAP sensor code. does that sound logical?

Yes it does because you are forcing the computer to open the injectors more which will compensate for the weak fuel pump here is guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job. Your car has a trap door so it is much easier.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

fuel pressure should be around 40-45 lbs.

idle vacuum should be 18-20 inches
