2001 Buick Lesabre accelerator sticks

My accelerator (gas pedal ) sticks once in awhile when I go to press down to start going. I have to press down with some force on the pedal to go it going. Thank you

Clean out the throttle bore with intake cleaner and a soft bristle bottle brush. Check the accelerator cable for any binding.
