2000 Buick Lesabre gas gauge

Hi!

I have been noticing that my gas gauge has been

acting peculiar lately. when I first start my car the gas

gauge can show empty or full when the car is actually

less than full or at a half a tank full . It eventually

seems to show normal but then again I am not sure!
