How do you replace the taillight lens?

Hi,

The taillight assembly is attached to the body through the trunk. You may need to move the carpet to find the plastic wingnuts that hold them on. Just remove the wing nuts and the lens will come out for you.

Joe, the taillight on the Buick 98 LeSabre is a unified assembly fastened to the trunk lid, not the car body. Metal nuts fasten the assembly housing to the trunk lid and are secured from the back side/interior of the lid.
Is there any way to remove a turn signal bulb (1157) without removal of the taillight lens assembly? On other vehicles, marker and navigation bulb replacement was simpler.
