Cost of replacement engine

Hello - This is a rough estimate. Some of the things that I selected may be part of a package deal from the shop. Example....in my selections R&R of the engine included setting the timing etc but didn't include putting on the water pump, valve covers etc....A shop may include all of that. I would definitely shop around and check warranties for parts and labor. Used or new engines......too many times folks get used engines that are......really used and should not be put in a car. I hope this helps......at least gets you in the ball park. If I may ask.....why do you need to replace the engine? Are you doing this yourself?
