I need to know precisely where the speed sensor is located so that I can replace it.

I don't know if I can give an exact location, but do want to clarify. Do you mean the vehicle speed sensor (vss) or the transmission input speed sensor?

the vehicle speed sensor is located at the end of the transmission extension housing.It will be near where the right side axle comes out of the transmission.It should have a small 2 terminal connector.
