These buttons only seem to work sometime-mainly after the car has warmed up. Air blows out, but not from any place in particular. After it warms up the buttons can be activated to turn on the vent or defroster. This only occurs when the car is feeling helpful.[/quote:d77e2df260]

unfortunately these heater control heads are common for failing. yours im sure is no good. hope this helps. **try getting a used one from a salvage yard, you will save a bundle. i usually get them used because a new one is very expensive and i dont have problems with the used ones.
