I took the motor out to put another transmission on it and put it all back togather and now when i start it up the exhaust manifolds get red hot.i thought maybe the cataletic converter was doing it but i disconected the exhaust before the converter and it still gets red.the motor has no miss or hesitation in it like the timing would be off it runs smooth.i was wondering if it could be a problem with the fuel like running to rich or lean or maybe the fuel pressure regulator? wondering if anyone had any ideas? thanks alot.
