3.8 engine with 56Kmiles. I can feel strong vibrations in the gas pedal when I accelerate over 35 to 40 mph. Any ideas?

Is this engine vibrations that you feel through the gas pedal? Check gas pedal linkages and motor mounts. Check tires and suspension.
