1991 Buick Lesabre Power windows

1991 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Automatic

The power window on the drivers side came down but when we wanted to put it up it didn't move, the motor is humming but the window will not move.
We tried pulling up on the window but that won't work either, we have the door panel off but can't see much.

See if you have a good ground and battery voltage to your window motor when you have the switch in the up position.If you do then try taping on the window motor with a hammer while you have the window switch in the up position.See if the window will go up.Sounds like a bad window motor or the window glass is binding up.
