Recently, my 1991 LeSabre has been acting up and not running right. It seems to run fine on the highway at higher rpms, but in town it does not want to idle or do basic city driving. The engine sputters and I took it to a mechanic and he found out it was the mass air flow sensor. And then he told me it was going to cost me like $400 to fix it! My car is hardly worth that much so I called a salvage yard and got one.

Now my question...How hard is it to take out my old mass air flow sensor and install a new one? Any tips and how much time am I looking at?

Just loosen the clamps, unplug the sensor, and swap the parts.
