1989 Buick Lesabre defroster not blowing air

The defroster on my 89 buick is not working. I move the controls to defrost I only fell air at the front vents only. On air on floor or defroster hot or cold. HELP

If the direction of the air won't change, you most likely have a vacuum leak under the dash. The vents are actuated by vacuum. Check for disconnected, cracked, or damaged hoses under the dash. Sometimes, with the engine ruinning, you will actually hear a hissing sound from the leak.
