Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1978 Buick Electra V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Is the rear bearing on the passanger side press on or slip on and if it is press on where could i take it to get it fixed? Would u know about how much it would cost to get it pressed on also?

They are pressed in,but not how you're thinking,you use a bearing installer,it's a round metal disc with a handle sticking out of the center,using a hammer (32ounce ball pean works for me),line up bearing in the housing,put the tool on it and hammer the tool till the bearing walks in and seats,you'll need a slide hammer to remove the old bearing,if you have never done this type of work before,Take it to a Professional,you could get seriously hurt.Good Luck,Lou
