I drive a 2000 buick century custom with 123,000 miles. It runs fine but the fuel gauge is constantly changing when turning and is never correct. I used to judge when I needed to fill up my tank by how many miles i have driven. I needed to fill it up before my trip odometer read 360. However, now the trip odometer will reset itself sometimes when i turn the car on. I would like to know what type of problem this may be as well as how much it would cost to fix either of the problems. (I do not need to fix both because I only need one of the two to figure out how much gas I need)
