As soon as I turn my key my car is reving very high and won't go down. If I try to drive it like that the engine light will start flashing. Previously I had a very rough idle prior to the car warming up. Went to Jiffy lube, got an oil change and a rad flush and new rad cap. When I left Jiffy is the first time I noticed the idle problem. There are times when the reving stops and the car seems okay and then suddenly it's back.

First thing you need to do is have the codes read, Autozone does it free, Post the results with the code number(s). Even if the service engine light is not on, there should be freeze frame data stored.
If it won't make it to Autozone, buy a cheap scanner, they can be had for 30-40 dollars, a good investment, since they cover all cars sold in the USA from 96 on...
If the light is blinking, it means engine misfire, possible damage to the converter...service it right away!
