2002 Buick Century Brakes Problems

The ABS and Traction OFF lights are on, on the dash,
after going on and off for the past 4 weeks. The brakes are holding good, but sometimes when applied
I hear a noise from the brakes. the noise sound like
when there is a slippage and the abs kicks in.
Front rotor and pads were replaced 14 months ago
and rear shoe were replaced 5 months ago. Brake fluid was flush 3 months ago. R. side wheele bearing
assembly was replaced 12 months ago and the L. side
was replaced 6 months ago.
Can a wheele bearing assembly be at fault ?

When did you first notice the light come on? was it after a certain repair?

if too much grease is put in the bearings it can come on and contaminate your wheel speed sensors and cause dirt and grime to stick on it and stop its function!! might be a good idea to clean off the sensors and see whats goign on with it. is the check engine light on or anything? check the brake fluid level also

No, I did not notice it after any repair.
The wheel bearing assembly is a sealed unit, you cannot remove grease or clean the sensor.
Brake fluid level is good.

check the tone ring and make sure all the teeth are clean and the ring is cranked and separated or loose on its mount. also back probe and measure the volts coming off of teh sensor. turn car on and jack up one wheel at a time and spin it and see what it reads.
